Gordon Michael Bossert born June 18, 1947, in Mobridge, South Dakota to Michael Bossert and Frida Villhauer went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 76. Gordon had a very colorful life, a well lived life. He served two years in the Army stationed over in Germany during Vietnam. Then he worked several years after that working for General Dynamics in Fort Worth and LTV in Grand Prairie. He also worked several years in construction. In his younger years you’d catch him with a fishing pole in his hand or trying to track an elk down with his best friend, David Myers.

Gordon was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in the 1980’s, that diagnosis only hindered him in his abilities to walk but never his ability to live his life. He went on to live a simple country life enjoying being a husband, a father, grandfather and a great grandfather. Gordon was a man of few words but loved with his whole heart.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michal Bossert; his mother, Frida Villhauer Bossert; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Cherry Juannell Bossert; daughter, Malissa Bossert; granddaughter, Makenzi Rogan; and grandson in-law, Matthew Rogan; great-grandchildren, Courtnee and Camden; siblings, Gene Bossert and Marcella Bean; many friends and extended family.

Gordon was loved and cherished by everyone who met him and will be dearly missed.
