To Live Stream Funeral Service Click Here Gloria Lorraine Devlin, age 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at her home in Weatherford, on November 15th, 2022, surrounded by her family. Gloria was born February 24th, 1938 in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia to Jack “Sally” and Sheila Apps Gale. She was raised in Goulburn, NSW, Australia where she attended North Goulburn and Goulburn High Schools where she was also a member of the Goulburn Marching Girls’ team. Gloria married Bruce Devlin in 1959 in Goulburn. She raised her three children in Australia before moving to the US where she lived in Florida, Arizona, and Texas. Gloria passionately owned Kerrie’s Korner a beauty salon in Hialeah, Florida in the 1970’s. She was a member of the PGA Tour Wives Association between 1975-1982 and the Senior PGA Tour Wives Association between 1987-1995. Gloria was an avid tennis player and fan of the game. She spent countless hours doing needlepoint, gardening, collecting antiques, loving on her Corgis, and taking care of the entire family. Gloria was a world class cook, loved her Brandy and Ginger ale, and always had her nails and hair done. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Sheila and Sally, and her brother Barry Gale. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bruce Devlin of Weatherford; son Kel Devlin and wife Cathy of Weatherford; daughter Kerrie Scroggins, and husband Bill of Hockley; and son Kurt Devlin, and wife Julie of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Kris Devlin and wife Bridget, Bryan Murrell and wife Kate, Meaghan Devlin, Wayne Scroggins, Bowey Devlin; great-grandchildren Baron Devlin, Adelyn Devlin, Isabell Murrell; as well as many other extended family members and friends. Over the years, Gloria touched many lives, and her magnetic presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial service information will be announced in the coming weeks.
