Gloria Jean Blackman, 74, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at home in Fort Worth surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. The Blackman family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm at White’s Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of American at ALZFDN.ORG Gloria was born: May 30, 1945 in Dallas to Clifford Leon and Lena Ruenell Wygal Dillon. She attended High School at Brewer and U.T.A. Gloria married the love of her life, Gary Blackman July 8, 1964. She worked as a florist at Dillon Florist. As an avid music lover Gloria played piano, organ and sang at her church Wesley United Methodist. In addition to living in Fort Worth, Gary and Gloria lived in Taiwan and Turkey for a short time. They also loved exploring the world through travel, especially on cruises. Gloria was always smiling. She was blessed with a contagious laugh that filled the room. Gloria never met a stranger and was loved by everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Dana Lynn. Survivors, Husband, Gary Blackman; children, Curtis Lee and Scott Allen; daughters-in-law, Cindy and Kerry; grandchildren, Ian Dylan, Sage, Kara Mackenzie, Lauren Grace, Leah Faith; and great-grandchildren, Avery Renea, Jenna Mae and Grant August.
