Gertrude Louise Gazzola

Gertrude Louise Gazzola, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, passed away Sunday March 8, 2020.

 Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, Texas 76086 

Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford, Texas 76088. 

Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at White’s Funeral Home. 

Gertrude Louise Kyle was born October 8, 1925 in Thurber, Texas, daughter of William Lester and Mary Catherine Stephens Kyle. She graduated from high school and later went to Cosmetology school. Gertrude met and married Reno Richard Gazzola in Fort Worth in 1943. They spent many wonderful years together before he passed away in 1982. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Reno Gazzola; her parents, William and Mary Kyle; her brother, Homer Kyle; all her sisters, Lillian, Lilly, Dorothy, Nettie, Faye, and Christine; and her granddaughter, Jamie Sue Gazzola. 

Survivors: Sons, Bobby Gazzola of Weatherford, and Jimmy Gazzola of Flower Mound; Daughter, Pauline Cray of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
