It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerardo, a man whose life was defined by deep dedication to both his work and his family. His passion for everything he did was evident in the care he put into each day, and his unwavering commitment to giving his best will not be forgotten.

Gerardo’s heart of gold touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a source of strength, kindness, and love—a constant presence whose memory will live on through the lives of those he held dear.

He will be deeply missed by many, but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his loved ones, in the stories shared, and in the quiet moments where his spirit lingers.

Gerardo was preceded in death by his dad, Juan Erasto Merino.

He is survived by his mom, Ramona Merino Mendoza; father-in-law, Ramon Anchondo Mendoza; mother-in-law, Ma. Pilar Hernandez Ortiz; wife, Rosa Merino; son, Eduardo Merino; daughter-in-law, Jaimee Merino; grandson, Aiden Merino; granddaughter, Kholee Merino; son, Gerardo Merino; daughter-in-law, Maria Merino; grandson, Isaiah Merino; granddaughter, Galilea Merino; brothers, Oscar, Benito, Carlos, and Julio; sister, Yolanda Morales; lots of nieces and nephews, and lots of cousins.

Visitation: 12 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Funeral Service: Following the visitation at 2 p.m.
