Bud and Katie had a sixty-eight-year love story our family admired, respected, and adored. Seeing the sparkle in his eyes when he looked at his wife was incredible, and the love he had for her, you could see in his heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family, teaching all of us to fish, hunt, and being in the outdoors. The love for his family was extraordinary as well as his love for life. There was never a time he was not smiling or giggling or making you feel loved whole-heartedly whether he knew you or not. He never met a stranger.
