Gene Durwood Bradford

Gene Durwood Bradford, 93, passed away on Thursday April 28th, 2022 at Texas Health Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Private Interment will be in Ash Creek Cemetery Gene was born July 16th, 1928 in Cookville, TN to Bethel and Millisa Sewell Bradford and Raised in Nashville, TN. Married the love of his life, Dorothy M Dodd, on Oct 9, 1950 in Fort Lee, Virginia. Raised a family of 5 children in Fort Worth, Texas . He was a Technical Illustrator and retired from General Dynamics. A fifty year member and Past Master of the Lake Worth Masonic Lodge #1410. He was an ordained Minister as well. Over the years, Gene has touched many lives, and he will be missed by all who knew him. He loved his hobby building miniature houses and woodworking. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Bethel and Millisa Bradford; his sister, Laverne; daughter, Georgeanna Burton Metts; sons, Charles Burton, and Bobby Wayne Bradford. Gene is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy Dodd Bradford; brothers, Nick Bradford, Bobby Bradford, and Richard Bradford; son, Donald Terry Bradford; daughter, Nancy Jean Lamb; also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
