Gary Royce Brister, 74, loving father, grandfather, uncle, and brother passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 15, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Azle.
Interment: Azleland Memorial Park.
Visitation: 5 to 7 P. M. Sunday at White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Gary was born November 1, 1943 in Henrietta to Lloyd and Pauline Brister. A resident of Azle for over 70 years, he graduated from Azle High School in 1962 and from TCU in 1978. Gary had a 36 year career with Lennox Air Conditioning. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed going to Azle High School games and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Gary was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Azle.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Brenda Brister (Wrinkle) in 1999.
Survivors: Son, Scott Brister and wife, Kim; daughter, Cynthia Price; son, Lyle Brister and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Justin Price, Jerred Price, Chase Boyd, Chance Boyd, Paige Brister, Travis Brister, Garryn Brister and Cooper Moorman; great-grandchildren, Bennett Short and Audrey Price; brother, Neal Brister and wife, Lorretta; several nephews, nieces and loving family members; and girlfriend, Judy Wilson.
