Gary Armon Braswell

Gary Armon Braswell, whose life was defined by remarkable strength of character and a deep, steadfast love for his family, passed away peacefully at his home on October 4, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by those he cherished most. Born on August 1, 1941, Gary was the cherished son of Ora Lee and Shelby Braswell, who predeceased him, along with his devoted wife, Patsy, his son Derek, and his brother, David.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to service time At White's Azle Funeral Home, Azle.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2026 at White's Azle Chapel, Azle.

Burial will follow the service at Azleland Memorial Park, Reno.

Gary and Patsy shared an extraordinary bond, marrying on August 5, 1961, and together they built a family rooted in love and mutual respect. Their union was a testament to enduring love and companionship. Gary’s career was marked by dedication and innovation, as he devoted his professional life to Lockheed Martin, a place where his passion for electrical and mechanics flourished. His strong personality and big heart were evident in everything he did, whether he was at work or enjoying his favorite hobbies. Gary’s love for anything with an engine—planes, trains and automobiles --was legendary among family and friends. He even spent time as a gun dealer, showcasing his diverse interests and skills. Family was the cornerstone of Gary’s life.

He is survived by his sons, Kurt and David, who carry forward his legacy of strength and compassion. Gary’s grandson, Johnnie, and daughter-in-law, Tammie, were constant sources of joy and pride for him. His sister, Diane Langston, their bond was one of mutual love and support. Many other family members and friends.
