Frances Ann Bump

Frances Ann Wooten Bump, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Visitation:  6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Funeral Service:  1 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Lake Victor Church of Christ, 300 Lake Avenue, Lake Victor, Texas  76550.

Interment:  Cauble Cemetery, Cauble-Sunny Lane, Lake Victor, Texas.

Frances was born March 13, 1940 in Burnet, to Ben and Jessie Wooten.  She attended Burnet High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, and Valedictorian.  She also attended ITT Technical Institute.

Frances met the love of her life, Eugene Varney Bump, and they were married on May 31, 1957.  They spent 44 happy years together, and along the way raised five daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Truman and Reavis Wooten; a sister, Elva Dean Wooten-Schaefer; her husband, Eugene Bump; her daughter, Christine Bump; son, Charles Bump; and granddaughter, Amber Covington.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Lackey (Jim), Cynthia Bump, Cathy Bump, and Chanda Price (Jamey); grandchildren, Chris Lackey (Christiane), Dustin Lackey, Kara Powell, John Barnes (Brandie), Bill Bramble, Jimmy, Dylan, and Donovan Price; grandson-in-law, Darren Covington; and great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Frebrandt-Lackey, J. W., Morgan, Josie and Jase Barnes, Sidney and Avery Covington, and Hunter Collins; sisters, LaNell Clendennen, and Wanda Hoggarth.
