Elwanda Baker, 94, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Azle. Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, July 19, 2021 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Elwanda was born February 3, 1927 in Graham to F. L. and Zona Fay Barnes Chambers. She was a member of the Solid Rock Bible Church in Reno. Elwanda was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Baker; brother, R. C. Chambers; and grandsons, Thomas Edward Latham and great-grandson, Jason Thompson. Survivors: Daughters, Janie Latham and husband, Tommy and Linda Gardom and husband, Ken; four grandchildren, Staci Short, Traci Owens, Ronald Latham and wife, Patricia and Eric Latham; great-grandchildren, Amy Thompson, Cheyenne Weaver and husband, Johnathan; Tiffany Jenkins, Wade Jenkins, Kimberly Lytle, Eric Dywad and wife, Faith; great-great-grandchildren, Aurbie Thompson Camron, Ayden, Joshua and Lauryn Latham, Charles, Pasily, Emery and Bentley Weaver, Chelse and Dylan Lytle, Jenson and Greyson Dywad, Dominic Thompson, Wesley and Bridgette Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews She will be missed by so many that loved her.
