Elizabeth was born in El Paso, Texas on December 14, 1958; daughter of Maria Elena Franco and Gilbert Villa. She was lovingly nicked named “Meeyama” by her granddaughter (My Little Sweety), Celeste M. Towles, daughter of Elizabeth’s only son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Ashley Towles. Other family members called her Lizzie. Elizabeth had a rewarding career in the banking industry at Legend Bank where she rose to the position of Vice-President of Consumer Lending Manager. It was at Legend Bank where she met her long-life friend and adopted family member, Delaina Henderson. Elizabeth had a unique and contagious sense of humor. She had a passion for Star Trek. She also enjoyed collecting miniature clocks, and she had a deep love for her favorite movies. She held her collections dear to her and all the memories that lived inside of them. She had a story about every single item. Elizabeth also had a tender heart towards animals with her three loving cats, Ramsey, Wally, and Legend (that she rescued from a water pipe outside her office). She also nurtured a racoon, Epoo, until it was able to return to the wild. Elizabeth was also a New England Patriot’s fan. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Elena Franco and Gilbert Villa; and daughter, Kristina Leigh Towles Survivors include her son, Karl Towles (Ashley); granddaughter, Celeste Towles; brother, Robert J. Villa (Sandra A. Villa); her half-siblings, Gilbert Villa, Katherine Franco, Phillip Villa, Rudolfo Franco, Craig Franco, Linda Diaz; and her “adopted” family member in love, Delaina Henderson. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
