Merle Elaine Hill

Merle Elaine Hill, age 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior after battling cancer on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her home in Weatherford, Texas.

 Visitation is on Monday, May 9, 2022 at White’s Funeral Home in Weatherford from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the graveside service at Annetta Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.

 Elaine is survived by her husband, Tony, of 19 years. Elaine loved to read, crochet and do embroidery. She loved going to yard sales and shopping. Elaine was very talented at decorating and had a keen eye for antiques. She enjoyed collecting dolls and had an extensive collection. Elaine also enjoyed working in her flower beds, and animals gave her great joy. She loved the Lord and was so thankful for His love and grace. 

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Carline Strickland; two brothers, Bill and Tommy Strickland; and her brother-in-law, Tony Laws. 

Besides her husband, Elaine is survived by her daughter, LaRhonda and Jeff Womack, of Arkansas; her step-daughter, Kelly and Ken Miller, of Kentucky; three sisters, Rayna and Gary Haught, of Haltom City, Kim Laws of Weatherford, and Candi and Angelo Villafone, of Houston; one sister-in-law, Alice Kellum of Springtown. She had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
