Edith Marie Diggs, 96, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Azle. Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at White’s Azle Chapel. Interment: 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Cisco Cemetery. Visitation: 9:00 A.M. to service time Saturday, September 11, 2021 at White’s Azle Chapel. Marie was born November 14, 1924 in Whitter, CA. to Arthur and Catherine Chancellor. She loved gardening, fishing and her animals, but the most important thing to her was spending time with family. Marie always said to live life and have fun. Her laughter and smile were proof that she did just that. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, William Marvis Diggs. Survivors: Sons, Troy Diggs and Billy Diggs and wife, Roberta; daughter, Carolyn Howard; daughter-in-law, Donna Diggs; stepdaughter, Desiree Wright and husband, David; nineteen grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 42 great-great-grandchildren.
