Douglas Eugene Ballew

Douglas Ballew, 74, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. No services are planned at this time. Douglas was born March 18, 1944 in Visalia, California to John and Ethel Ballew. He was a dedicated employee to Aerospace for over 30 years and traveled throughout the country, living in California and Oregon and finally settling in Texas in 2008. He was an avid hunter, marksman, and fisherman. He enjoyed hunting all over North America, including Texas, Alaska, and California and liked going to the ocean to deep sea fish. He will be missed by all who knew him. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Ballew; sisters, Janice Ballew and Noreen Boring; daughter-in-law, Maria Ballew; and grandson, Lucas Ballew. Survivors: wife, Carol A. Ballew; sons, Robert Ballew and David Ballew and wife, Leah; and grandchildren, Thomas, Melissa, Reese and Abby Ballew.
