Dorothy “Dot” Weaver, 88, passed away on September 7, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with complications from Parkinson’s disease. Born on December 23, 1936, in Hagerman, New Mexico, Dot grew up embracing the values of warmth, togetherness, and resilience—qualities that would define her beloved role at the center of a growing family.

Dot was the cherished wife of Roy Weaver, who has preceded her in death, they were married for 64 years. Known for her passion for crossword puzzles and love of reading, Dot also found joy in traveling and living across the world with her husband and family - living in France, England, Okinawa, Morocco, and across multiple US states. Her greatest happiness came from gatherings with family, watching her family grow, celebrating milestones, and everyday moments. She leaves behind a family legacy that continues to grow with love and cherished memories.

She is survived by her children, Mark Weaver (wife Susan), Kim Geer, Eddie Weaver (wife Julie), and Ingrid Sawyer — who will remember her unwavering support and warmth. Her spirit also lives on in her twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

A funeral service in her honor will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 at 2:30 P.M Friday, September 26, 2025.
