Doris Juanita “Tootsie” Dunlap, 90, peacefully passed from this life at her home in Springtown on Saturday, September 2, 2017.Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown, 76082. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Doris married ML (Doboard) Dunlap on April 15, 1955. She retired after almost 40 years from Howells Western Café where she cooked the best chicken fried steaks and homemade pies anyone ever tasted.She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Marvin Dunlap; brother, Jimmy Brawley; and sister, Dorothy Howell.Survivors: her husband of 62 years, ML Dunlap; son, Terry Dunlap and wife, Nancy, of Loving; daughter, Patti Dunlap of Springtown; grandsons, Dustin Dunlap and wife, Sara, of Ft. Polk, Louisiana, Derek Dunlap and wife, Riley, of Olney; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Tate, Wyatt, Gunner, Charlotte, Caroline, and Jacob Dunlap; and numerous nieces and nephews.
