Donald Patrick White passed away March 15, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery Donald was born in San Antonio at Fort Sam Houston. He attended Fort Hood High School where he was an exceptional athlete and voted Class Favorite his Junior and Senior year. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Korea. After earning a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, he was a counselor for the Texas Rehabilitation Commission for 30 years where he helped other disabled people find work. He loved being a little league and then pony league baseball coach in Mineral Wells and did that for many years. His positive impact on the young people in the community was extraordinary. He also loved traveling with his wife. Most of all, he loved the Lord and his family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ginger White; sons Rick and his wife, Sandy, Clint and his wife, Lisa, and David; sister, Sharon White; grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Caitlin, Emma and Noah; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.
