Donald Wayne McMullen, Jr

Donald Wayne McMullen Jr., lovingly known as "Mac," passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 65.

Mac was born in 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Donald Wayne McMullen Sr. and Betty McMullen. He lived most of his life in Azle, TX. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found his greatest happiness hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheeler. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a skilled woodworker. He worked in bridge construction for many years and loved what he did.

Mac is survived by his daughters, Tamara McMullen and Cindy Heath and her husband, Lance; his granddaughter, Avery Heath; his faithful dog, Bear; his sisters, Carol Stewart and Christy McMullen; his best friend of over fifty years, Buddy Cotton; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Wayne McMullen Sr. and Betty McMullen, and his brother, Charles McMullen.

A Memorial Service celebrating Mac's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at White's Funeral Home in Azle, Texas.

Mac will be remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. Whether he was building something with his hands, or spending time with those he loved—including his loyal companion, Bear—Mac lived a life true to himself. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
