Donald “Donnie” Joe Graves passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, TX on Friday, May 20th, 2022 with his loving wife, Linda, by his side. He was 67. Donnie was born in Fort Lee, VA on October 4th, 1954. Although he was born in Virginia, he was 9 days old when he moved to Texas, still making him an official Texan. He grew up in Hurst, TX and graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1973. Donnie was a Fort Worth Golden Gloves champion in the 70’s and later became a referee for Golden Gloves. He worked at Bell Helicopter from 1986 until his retirement in 2019, and resided in Weatherford, TX with his beloved wife, Linda. He loved to hunt, fish, tinker and try to fix things, smoke meat, prank people with the greatest poker face ever, and he made the best fried catfish. Preceded in death: mother, Jouwellia Graves Survivors: Wife, Linda; daughters, Kirsha (Erik) Vann and Tasha (Jonathan) Mancuso; stepson, Ronnie Reed; father, Bobby Graves; brothers, Benny, Larry, and Gary Graves; granddaughters, Jayci, Bella, Mackenzie, and Reagan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, at 2 p.m. at White’s Funeral Home in Weatherford, TX.
