Dollie Virginia Bedwell

Dollie Virginia (Brodie) Bedwell, 87, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her home in Parker County. Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Dollie was born September 23, 1935 in Amarillo, daughter of Jessie Leon and June (Hemphill) Brodie. She met the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Bedwell, and they were married on February 14, 1975. They would go on to spend 48 happy years together. Dollie was artistic by nature, and she loved to craft and do puzzles. In addition, she loved to dance. From Latin to ballroom and swing, she and Rick loved to dance. While she had many interests in life, her first love was her family, especially her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Carla. Survivors include her husband, Rick Bedwell; sons, Donald Moore, and Mike Moore; two granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
