Dewie "Edwina" Byers

Edwina Myers passed away December 18, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born October 2, 1928, in Plainview, Texas, to Dewey A. Russie and Blanche Browder Russie. Edwina was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Byers in 2013. They were married for 65 years. She was a housewife who loved the outdoors and taking care of animals on her farm. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren when they were young and was known for her wonderful country cooking. She was very proud of her daughters and loved her family. She is survived by her daughters, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at The Vantage Assisted Living memory care for the wonderful loving care they gave to Edwina in her last years. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
