Dennis Wayne Eckert, 72, passed away Friday, October 23, 2022 in Dallas. Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church, San Antonio, Texas. Burial: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. Dennis was born October 8, 1949 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Marvin and Minnie Teschner Eckert. He honorably and proudly served in the United States Army. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Eckert; sister Gale; and several other family members and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
