Denise Ann Roberts “Nemaw” Welch, 58, of Graford, Texas passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, peacefully in her sleep. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at The Sending House, 120 West Lee Avenue, Graford. Interment: Graford Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers please send a card with a written memory you have with Denise and her family. Denise was born in Waco, Texas on July 12, 1965 to the late George Roberts and Bobbie Hays. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Edwin Welch, Jr. on March 12, 1983. They shared a wonderful and fulfilled 43 years together. Denise loved her family fiercely and was immensely proud to be a Momma and Nemaw to everyone. She was our rock, supporter, and protector. Her memory will live on in our hearts and minds for eternity. Until we see you again. Denise is preceded in death by her father, George Roberts; mother, Bobbie Jean Hays; and step-father, Marvin Jack Hays. Denise is survived by her husband of 43 years, Thomas Edwin Welch, Jr.; three sons, Thomas Edwin Welch III, and his wife, Jenna, of Fort Worth, Brandon Kyle Welch and his wife, Shalena, of Graford, and Stephen Wayne Welch and his wife, Tiffany, of Fort Worth; one fur daughter, Bella; 13 grandchildren, Hagen, Liza, Kyce, Nayvie, Alexis, Jayden, Eamonn, Memphis, Braxdyn, Lincoln, Noah, Nathan, and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Aurora, and Aubreyelle; and many other family members and friends.
