Cortney Lyn Smart, 32, of Fort Worth, passed away Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 in Gainesville, TX. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022 at White’s Springtown Chapel in Springtown. Inurnment: Springtown Cemetery in Springtown. Cortney was born January 7, 1990 in Fort Worth to Willie B. Anderson and Debra A. Smartt. Cortney was raised throughout the DFW area, but her HOME and the house that built her was the big yellow house her Mamaw and Papa had on Highway 51. The only child Cortney raised was her furrbaby Tallulabelle. Cortney went to church and lived her life filled with her faith. She loved her family, her friends and most importantly her furrbaby. She lived her life without fear, she was loving and forgiving. She was a BEAUTIFUL person filled with bubbly love, laughter and energy, and Cortney was loved by so many. She spent most of her time just being with her family and friends. She was preceeded in death by her Mamaw and Papaw, Jimmy N. Smartt and Loretta S. Smartt; her mother, Debra A. Smartt and many great aunts and uncles. Cortney was survived by her father Willie B. Anderson and wife Diana of Marietta, Oklahoma, brother William Sherwood of Bradford, Pennsylvania, sister Shawna Tresdell of Avon, New York, sister Amanda Seiwell and husband Jason of Mount, New York, brother Keelen Yanda and wife Nikki of Fillmore, New York, sister Leah Anderson and husband Cody Anderson and kids, Nova and Nolan of Graford, Texas, sister Meshae Anderson of Lewisville, Texas, brother Sean Riley, soul sister Kimi Tilton and husband Nick and niece Fiona of Millsap, Texas. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed and remembered by all her relatives and friends.
