Carolyn Anne Vereen

Carolyn Anne Vereen passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday, October 9, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in White’s Chapel of Memories. Interment will be in Poolville Cemetery following the service. Carolyn Anne Vereen, born July 6, 1956, enjoyed a happy childhood with her three older siblings and loving parents. She developed a caring and joyful personality which she readily shared with others throughout her life. As a child living in mostly rural areas, she developed a love for nature, art, and animals. She cared for her pets diligently and loved to draw, sing, play "42", and write poetry. She attended Weatherford College and dedicated her life to the service of others as a Certified Nurse's Aide. Carolyn Anne was a devoted and loving Mom to her two children, Emmanuel and Angelica. She prioritized their needs and provided a home with love and stability. Carolyn Anne enjoyed travelling after she retired, including trips to England, Alaska, Hawaii, and Colorado. She carried a song in her heart and always had a cheerful greeting and smile for everyone she met. She was a devout Christian who willingly put actions to her beliefs and shared her faith freely with everyone. She is survived by her son, Emmanuel Vereen; daughter, Angelica Malizia; seven grandchildren; a brother and his wife; a sister and her husband, and many other loving family members.
