Carolyn Rosson

Carolyn Rosson, beloved wife and mother went home on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at White’s Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.

Born in Madill, Oklahoma, Carolyn was the eldest of three children by parents Nuborn and Rossetta Mock. She was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1949. Three years later she started attending Assemblies of God Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and graduated in 1955.

A year later she met Bill Rosson and was married on August 1, 1957, in Amarillo, Texas.

Carolyn served in the church until the 1970's and afterwards focused on serving outside the church walls. Her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ was her personal compass and the rock of our family that never failed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Rosson; brother, Brian; and sister, Marva.

She is survived by her daughter, Vernelle Rosson; and son, Jay Rosson and his wife, Michele.
