Carol Elizabeth Rebensdorf Scheppegrell

Carol Elizabeth Rebensdorf Scheppegrell was born December 22, 1938 in Fresno, California, and finished her race on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Services will be held at The Hills Church, 2828 Longvue Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76108 on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. 

Flowers and remembrances should be sent to the church.

 Carol worked as a Buyer for McMahans, New Holland, Metzier Farms and as a Senior Buyer for Duncan Ceramics, retiring in 2009 following a stroke. Carol loved reading, camping in the mountains and at the central California oceans. She also had a deep love for God and the church. Carol’s greatest love was for her family. 

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Jacob Rebensdorf; mother, Dorothy Frazier-Rebensdorf; and her son, Jacob Scheppegrell. 

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gary Scheppegrell; son, Michael Scheppegrell; daughter-in-law, Peggy Berry Scheppegrell; granddaughter, Michelle Scheppegrell; grandson, Jonathan Scheppegrell; brother, Robert Rebensdorf; sister-in-law, Arleta Rebensdorf; great-grand dog, Max; and many nieces and nephews.
