Carol Helen Bowen (née Tylor), 77, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Weatherford, TX. Born on July 13, 1946, in Aurora, IL, she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Frederick Tylor and Marian Agnes Tylor. 

Carol pursued her higher education at Adams State College in Colorado, where she majored in Business and Biology. This academic foundation paved the way for her distinguished career in civil services, where she excelled as an Administrative Medical Secretary to the Flight Surgeon, contributing significantly to the community through her dedication and hard work. 

Beyond her professional life, Carol was deeply involved in various Malamute and Siberian Clubs, as well as rescue and foster organizations, demonstrating her profound love for animals and commitment to their welfare. 

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Teddy Joe Bowen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marian Tylor. 

A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 2 PM. 

Her life will be remembered for her professional contributions, her passion for animal welfare, and the love she shared with those around her.
