Boyd Wren passed away in Ft. Worth, Texas, on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Service:  Friday, March 9, 2018, at 10:00 AM, First Baptist Church, Springtown, Texas Internment:  Springtown Cemetery Visitation:  Friday, March 9, 2018, 9-10:00 AM, First Baptist Church, Springtown, Texas Boyd was born May 23, 1930, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Boyd Wren, Sr. and Margaret Edrie Hedges.  He graduated from Northside High School and worked at General Dynamics for 40 years.  Boyd proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp.  He truly loved traveling throughout the US, Russia, China and Japan with his wife, Ruby.  Boyd enjoyed singing while Ruby played piano as they traveled through the US in a motor home.  He was a member of First Baptist in Springtown for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Christi Stanley; wife, Ruby Wren (1/22/2018); infant twin sister; grand-son-in-law, Steve Mostyn; and step-daughter Vicki Carolyn Everts. Survivors:  Daughter: Vicki Adams (Jerry); Sisters, Jaris Loyd and Carol A. Chauncy Baker; Son-In-Law, James Stanley (Christi’s widower); step-children Lynn Everts (Michele) and Tammy Strickland (Ken); Grandchildren, Erik Stanford (Christin); Julie Sidman (Daniel), Amber Lynn Mostyn, Jason Anderson (Jenn) and Mary Katherine Guerin (Chase), Crystal Hamman, Summer Kunard (Matt), TJ Furrh (Michael), Creed Everts and Chele Everts; step-grandchildren Brandon Strickland (Brandy) and Whitney Newman (Jared); Eighteen Great-Grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and loving family members.
