Bonnie Linda Rucker, 75, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Grapevine. Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at White’s Azle Chapel. Visitation: 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M at White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Valliant Cemetery in Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Bonnie’s name to the local animal shelter. Bonnie was born February 12,1948 in Fort Worth to Hazel and Barto Rose. She grew up in Fort Worth. She was known as a hard worker and retired from Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department. She had compassion for rescue dogs, and her dog, Kiamichi was named after the Kiamichi River, in Oklahoma. Bonnie was known by many in the Azle, Springtown area for taking her daughter, Jeanette to horse competitions during her childhood years. She enjoyed working and tending to the family ranch back in the day. Her family and friends would say that she loved cleaning house, cooking home-cooked meals, and being a friend to all. Survivors include her children, Cathy Fisher and husband, Russ and Jeanette Rucker; and four grandchildren, Alec Fisher, Shea Fisher, Cody Rucker and Natalie Tipton; and numerous friends. The Lord prepared the way for her to return back home to live with Him.
