Bobby Wayne Harris

Bobby Wayne Harris, passed away October 11, 2018, in Springtown, Texas.  Bobby was born August 18, 1939, in Slaton, Texas.  His parents were Ewell Harris and Odessa Martin Harris. Funeral  Service:  10:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2018, Cornerstone Church, Springtown, Texas Visitation:  6-8 PM Friday, October 12, 2018, White’s Funeral Chapel, Springtown, Texas Interment:  Goshen Cemetery Bobby was a man of God who loved his savior, family and community with greatness.  His commitment  and leadership to his community was evidenced as Board President to several nonprofits and currently to the Nelson Cemetery Association, Agnes Community Association and Walnut Creek Water Supply.  He was a very generous man with his resources.  He was an active member in Cornerstone Community Church.  Bobby  was employed by Martin & Martin Foundation Drilling for 27 years,  and founded H&H Foundation Drilling and Texas Shafts Drilling Contractors.    He served his nation in the National Guard from 1957-1960.  Bobby and Gail found great  joy serving in Romania  Missions. He was deeply loved by his family, friends and the communities he served. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Ewell Harris in 1982 and his daughter, Sherry Harris in 1986. Survivors include his wife, Gail; mother, Odessa Martin Harris; son, Robert Harris; Daughters, Amy Davidson and husband, Jim, Angie Kraus and husband Ed; Grandsons:  Jason Davidson, Ethan Davidson, Nathan Kraus, Ryan Kraus; Granddaughter, Emily Davidson and Brother, Harry Harris; Sisters: Peggy Brantley, Mary Shero, Valeta  Baker, Sharon Dale, and Beverly Rice. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to Romanian Missions through CornerStone Community Church.
