Bina Rebecca Henson

Bina Rebecca Henson, beloved mother, wife, and grandmother went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the age of 93.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2026 at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 100 Spring Creek Road, Weatherford.

Interment: Spring Creek Cemetery, Weatherford.

Bina was born April 4, 1933 in Quitman, Mississippi to Willie Mae Rawson and Robert Lavelle Rawson and was raised in Calvert, Alabama. She met her sweetheart Vincent, while attending Leroy High School where she was a cheerleader and he was the quarterback of the football team. After graduation they married in December of 1952 and moved to Starkville, Mississippi where Vince attended college and Bina gave birth to their first two children. In 1957 Vince's career brought their family to Fort Worth, Texas, where Bina gave birth to two sons, and eventually moved to their forever home in Weatherford.

Bina devoted her early life to being a homemaker and was a dedicated member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Later in life she enjoyed a successful career in real estate. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith in the Lord, her delicious meals, beautiful flower arrangements, and her large family gatherings.

Bina is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Vince Henson; son, Robert Henson; and sister, Joyce Nichols.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Henson; sons, Timothy Henson (Tay.), and David Henson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
