Billie Auvenshine

Billie Marie Beaty Auvenshine, 91 passed away July 21, 2018.  Visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Whites Funeral Home Springtown. Graveside services at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28 at Veal Station Cemetery.  Billie was born Sept. 12, 1926 in the Brair Community where she lived most of her life. Billie took nurses training at the old Weatherford Hospital on 51 north in 1960. She worked as an LVN in the first Azle Hospital for two years when Dr. James Savage and Dr. Jack Mobley came to Azle and started their careers. She also worked at four nursing homes where she dearly loved taking care of the elderly.  Billie went home to join the Lord and her husband Bill; her parents Johnny and Myrtle Beaty; brothers; Vance and Ernest Beaty; son Duane Auvenshine; four grandsons and two great granddaughters.  Survivors include; daughter, Carolyn Davis; sons David Auvenshine and wife Sharon, Dan Auvenshine and wife Gloria all of Azle, eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
