Betty Louise Odom

Betty Louise Odom, age 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away June 21, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at White’s Chapel in Springtown. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2022 at White’s Chapel in Springtown. Interment: 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Cottondale Cemetery, Cottondale. Betty was born in Paradise, Texas to Lewis Finley and Opal Finley. She lived in the Springtown area all her life. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother and also worked outside the home as a cashier in a grocery store. Bowling was a favorite hobby of hers and she spent many hours enjoying that hobby. God was important to her and she attended the Springtown Church of Christ faithfully for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Norma Meinerts; a brother, Kenneth Finley; and a daughter, Charolette Bostick. She is survived by her husband, Willie Odom; her daughter Vicki Row; her son, Kevin Dixon; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed and remembered by all her relatives and friends who knew her.
