Barbara Jeanette Adams

Barbara Jeanette Adams, 90, passed away in a Weatherford Medical City Hospital, July 30th, 2026.

Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2026 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Barbara was born March 24th, 1936 in Weatherford Texas. She graduated in 1954 from Dumas High School. Throughout her life, Barbara worked for the local radio station KZEE, Jerry’s Chevrolet, and Rutledge Realty, but her true calling was to be a home maker.

For many years, she traveled across the country and made countless memories. Barbara was always an active member of her local church and loved playing bridge. She was devoted to her friends and family and spent much of her time with them.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Moughon, and Jack Adams; daughter, Cheryl McFadin; son, Charles Moughon; parents, C.O. and Dezzie Wells; sisters, Bobbye, Ginny, Kathryn, Nita Joye Rogan, and Billie Sue.

She is survived by her son, Craig Moughon; grandsons, Mason and Carter Moughon; sister, Gayle Beavers; stepson, Joe Adams; her partner, Darwin; and numerous extended family and many good friends.
