Mineral Wells – Augrelia Perez Newberry, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017.Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Friday at the Southside Church of Christ, Mineral Wells. Burial: Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at White’s Funeral Home, Mineral Wells.Augrelia was born January 2, 1946 in San Patricio County, Texas. She was a resident of Mineral Wells since 1966. Augrelia married Seth Mike Newberry on August 28, 1968. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ for over 30 years. Augrelia loved the outdoors, including fishing and gardening. Her family was her number one priority. She loved her grandbabies and great grandbabies and raised them like they were her own.She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe Perez and Olivia Rivas Vela; brothers, Johnny Perez and Jesus Perez; and sister, Angel Perez.Survivors: Husband, Seth Mike Newberry; children, Ray Martinez, Billy Martinez and wife, Cindy, Kerry Peeks and husband, James, and Larry Newberry; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Sepherino Perez, Erlindo Perez, and Joe Perez; sisters, Maria Collaso, Lucy Valtier, and Petra Geurra; and numerous extended family members.
