Arthur F. "Art" Schwarm, III

Arthur F. Schwarm, III, 83, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Fort Worth.

Memorial Visitation: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024 at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Arthur was born on November 25, 1940 in Glastonbury, Connecticut, son of Arthur F. and Ethel Schwarm, II. He moved to Fort Worth in 1962. Art met and married the love of his life, Hazel, in 1981 and they were married for 22 years before Hazel passed in 2003. 

Art proudly served his country in the United States Air Force at Carswell Air Force Base for four years. He then worked at Lockheed for 38 years. Art was dedicated to his job and loved his work. 

He had several hobbies including, crafts, woodworking, and he even built a lighthouse. But Art’s greatest love was his family. 

Art was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife, Hazel.

Survivors include his children, Portia, and Zack; his grandchildren, Cameron, and Kennedy; six great-grandchildren; his sisters, Nancy, and Joyce; along with many other dear family members and friends.
