Arlie Lee Wharton, 92, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Wichita Falls. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Arlie was born October 23, 1928 in Lone Camp, son of Robert and Essie Singleton Wharton. He married Anna Pauline Gruben and they spent many wonderful years together until she passed. Arlie retired as a Superintendent for Phillips Polyurethane Plant in Pasadena. He loved his family, teaching Sunday School, traveling, being a lifelong Deacon, and God’s word given through The Bible. Arlie was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Wharton; his parents, Robert and Essie Wharton; brothers, Roy, Ray, Wayne and twin brother, Charlie; sons, David, and Gary; grandchildren, Kevin, Megan and Dylan Lee; and daughter-in-law, Sheressa who passed in January. Survivors: Children, Kathy Rosenberger, Paul and Teresa Wharton; grandchildren, Wendy, Casey, Dedra, Bryan, Robert, Joey, and Kaylei; great-grandchildren, Keagan, Hailey, Landon, Autumn, Trinity, Meanie, Jackson, Ace, Ty, and Luke; great great-granddaughter, Raine LeeAnna; and daughter-in-law, Susan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Mineral Wells VFW and Hospice of Wichita Falls.
