Anna Belle Row, 84, passed away on January 12, 2023 at her home in Springtown. Family Gathering: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Howell's Western Cafe in Springtown. Memorial Visitation: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 in White’s Springtown Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown, TX 76082 Anna Belle was born January 11th, 1939 to Glen Edwin Baird and Hazel Edith McClain Baird in Heidenheimer, TX. She was raised in Somerville, where she lettered 4 years in basketball and would go on to graduate from high school. Immediately after school she went to work for the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway, eventually ending up with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway where she retired in 1996 after 36 years of service. Anna met her husband Joe in April 1964 at GCSF and the couple married in October of that same year. Her work took her all over the state of Texas, and she made many friends all along the way. Anna Belle loved traveling throughout the United States with Joe and one of their favorite destinations is Southwestern Colorado in the fall to watch the leaves change. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, and her oldest sister Virginia Calvary. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joe Row of Springtown; sister, Francis Griffin of Somerville; brother, Glen M. Baird and wife Gloria of San Angelo; sister, Betty J. Harmon of Cameron; two nephews that she helped raise, Jeremiah Glenn of Azle and Nathan Glenn of Sunset; as well as a multitude of other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
