Anita Pearl Gumpert, 78, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at home with her family. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church, 1311 E. Bankhead Drive, Weatherford. Entombment: 2 p.m. Saturday at Holly Hills Memorial Park, 1900 FM 51, Granbury. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Anita was born June 3, 1943 in South Gate, California, daughter of Thomas and Stella Mae McDole Bevers. She met and married the love of her life, Bob Gumpert, in 1975 and they went on to spend many happy years together. Anita loved to play the piano, enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, and playing games with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband, Robert C. “Bob” Gumpert. Survivors: Brother, Ed Bevers; children, Debi Gumpert, Robert Gumpert, John Gumpert (Kate), James Gumpert (Jena), Pam Stoddard (John), and Tammie Allen; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
