Angelita "Angela" Valtierra

Angelita “Angela” (Rosas) Valtierra, 83, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023.

 Visitation: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023 with the Rosary at 7 p.m. in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. 

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford.

 Angela was born August 2, 1940 in Merkel, daughter of Sixto and Josephine (Garcia) Rosas. She was a loving, caring mother and devoted wife. Of all her many interests in life, her family was the light of her life. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Diego Valtierra; and son, Rene’ Valtierra. 

Survivors include her son, Herman Valtierra; granddaughter, Jadin Marie Valtierra; sisters, Irma Valverde, Gloria Ortiz, and Maggie Escobedo; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
