Anes Aaron Roberson passed on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene, Texas following a short Illness. He was born on June 29th, 1948 in Fort Worth, TX to Anes and Mary Ellen Roberson. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at White’s Springtown Chapel. Interment: Immediately following service, Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Springtown Cemetery. Aaron began his school career in Andrews, TX and graduated in 1966. In his youth, he was in little league baseball and Boy Scouts, where he achieved the highest honor, Eagle Scout. In high school, he was on the tennis team, the math team and was an honor graduate. After medaling at state in slide rule his senior year, Aaron received a full scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin. Following his graduation in 1970, Aaron quickly began his career with the University of Texas. He then pursued opportunities for career growth where he spent time at Texas Instruments managing several global accounts, was self-employed as an entrepreneur for many years, and most recently retired as Executive Vice President of Information Technology at New Mexico Gas. Aaron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Pixie of Abilene, his two sons Andrew (wife Rosie) and Caleb (wife Magenta), grandchildren Lilianna, Isabell, David, and Cohen; and siblings Ford Roberson, Kerby Roberson, and Andrea Hungerford. The family would like to thank Aaron and Pixie’s home health aide Ally for her devoted care, and Springtown United Methodist Church, led by Pastor Jake Wade, for their help during this time.
