Alice Faye Harper, 86, of Boyd, Texas, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 14, 2025. Her faith has now become sight, and we rejoice in the assurance that she was welcomed with the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Alice’s life was marked by her incredible faith in Jesus. She trusted Him in every season and lived to reflect His love to those around her. Her joy, kindness, and servant’s heart were evidence of the Savior she followed, and her greatest legacy is the faith she passed on to her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Lavaughn Harper, along with her two brothers and two sisters, completing the reunion of the Baker siblings in heaven.
She is survived by her children, Tamara Paulette Jackson, Richard Guy Harper, and John Derrick Harper and his wife Pam. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward the example of her steadfast devotion to Christ.
Her life testified to the peace, strength, and hope that can only be found in Jesus. Though she will be deeply missed, we rest in the promise that she is now at home with Him, whole and at peace.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Hilltop Family Church in Springtown, Texas. Together, we will honor the life of a woman who lived fully for her Savior.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hilltop Family Church, in keeping with Alice’s lifelong spirit of generosity and faith.
