Alice E. Crowson, age 80 passed away peacefully on November 28, 2020 at the home of daughter and son-in-law Sandi and Mark Gunter surrounded by her family. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Whites Funeral Home in Azle. Graveside: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway Arkansas. Alice was born March 27, 1940 to the late Alonzo L. Long and Maude Aumegine Bland Long Gwatney. Alice loved her family and was always there with a ministering heart and Godly advice. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother and will be missed to all those whom loved her. Alice attended The Church At Azle and her group of friends were known as The Grey Hairs which sat all in a row together. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Kenneth C. Crowson; daughters, Pamela Maxwell and Rita Haynie; 3 brothers and one sister. Survived by daughter, Sandi Gunter (Mark) and Caren Allsup; step-sons, Kent Crowson and Mark Crowson; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Smith (Terry) and Joyce Hunter; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to say a special thank you to Azle Manor and the special nurses, Mandy and Carmen the Physical Therapist Diana and the team that helped her and Bealey, her wound care nurse for loving her as if she were there own and all the others that are to many to mention and a special thank you to the Director of Nursing Jamie who helped us get her on Hospice. A special thank you to Solaris Hospice and the team of nurses Trisha, Christy and Jaylon for walking us through this process every step of the way and not only caring for our mother but us as a family and was there no matter what time of day or night we called.
