Florence Polston

Florence Ann Polston, 71,loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday at First Baptist Church of Castle Hills. Visitation: 1 to 2 P.M. at the church before the service. Florence was born June 10, 1946 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Virgil and Flossie McConnaughey. She loved classic country music, dancing, cooking and her family gatherings. Elvis was her favorite singer. Florence enjoyed watching soap operas and game shows, especially “The Price is Right” with Bob Barker. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George McConnaughey; sisters, Marian Howard and Dorothy McConnaughey. Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Bobby Polston; sons, Eddie Polston and wife, Michelle and Billy Polston and wife, Lorraine; daughters, Paula Turner and husband, Rodney, Brenda Polston and Shirley Polston; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley King and Lora Remler; and loving nieces, nephews.
