Connie Lash

Connie Lash, 89, loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her home. Service: 12:00 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2017 noon at First Baptist Church of Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, June 30, 2017 at White’s Azle Funeral Home. Private burial. Connie was born April 5, 1928 in Fort Worth to Ralph N. and Lila Connel. She was an avid bridge player, loved the Texas Rangers and traveling. Connie was a devoted Christian and was treasurer for First Baptist Church of Azle for many years. She was the Director of the Girls Auxiliary at Wedgwood Baptist Church, made numerous missions trips and donations to several missions. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Azle. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Lash in April of 1995; and four brothers. Survivors: Son, Paul Lash and wife, Lorna of Azle; daughter, Shirley Tilney and husband, Ralph of Navarre, FL.; grandsons, Charles Hoffman of Austin and John Paul Lash of Azle.
