WEATHERFORD - Clayton Delbert Riley passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 73 years, with his family by his side in a Fort Worth hospital.Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2251 Bethel Road, Weatherford, 76087. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, 75211. Viewing will be held at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to the service.Memorials: Flowers and donations are welcomed. Donations can be sent to the American Lung Association in memory of Clayton D. Riley.Clayton was born on December 17, 1943 to Edward Henry Riley Sr. and Sarah Jane Capps Riley in San Angelo. He served 22 years in the United States Air Force, where he met and married his lovely wife of 54 years, Doris Ann Newton.After retiring from the military, he was employed by Lockheed Martin in Littleton, Colo. and in Fort Worth, until retirement after 20 years.Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Malcolm T. Gay; sister, Ila Faye Riley; sisters-in-law, Kim Riley and Sheron Riley; and brothers-in-law, Bob Freyta and Lee Frey.He is survived by his wife, Doris Riley; siblings, Edward Henry Riley, Jr. and Jonathan Wayne Riley; children, Ann Janette Riley Harris and spouse, Nolen E. Harris, Jr., of Bella Vista, Ark., Cheryl Jane Riley Gay of Weatherford, Darrel S. Riley and spouse, D. Shankelford, of San Antonio, and Jenene Curtis of Alameda, Calif.; grandchildren, Natalie Anne Harris, Michael T. Gay and Krista Lynne Harris; in-laws, Alene and John Mast, of Corpus Christie, Lori Frey of Bowling Green, Mo., and Nadine Freyta of Denver, Colo.Services are in care of White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
