Opal Lorene Pritchard

Lorene Pritchard, 94, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 in White's Azle Chapel. Visitation: 10 a.m. until service time in White's Azle Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tarrant Area Food Bank, 2600 Cullen St., 76102. Lorene was born July 23, 1922 in Grapevine, to Harry and Mae Velte. She worked at Montgomery Ward for over 25 years. She cherished her family and will be remembered as being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ardis Pritchard; sisters, Hazel Bowden and Jeannine Ward; and granddaughter, Andria Wilson. Survivors: children, Norma Melton and Leroy Pritchard and wife Holly; grandchildren, Duke Pritchard and wife, Angela, Jo Kristi Peat and husband, Gary, Reo Pritchard and wife, Heather; great grandchildren, Micah McDaniel and husband Brady;Talon, Chris, Canyon, and Sara Pritchard, Austin and Ethan Peat,and Knox Pritchard; step-great grandchildren, Carter and Owen Longelier; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Haynes and husband, Fred; sisters in law, Edna Williams and husband, Don, and Evelyn Hobbs; numerous nieces and nephews.
