Daniel "Danny" Ernest Howell, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Memorial Mass: 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 108 NW 4th Ave, Mineral Wells, 76067. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067, with a rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. Danny was born July 10, 1934 to Jack and Lena Howell in Kerens. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. During his time in the military, he was a part of the 11th Airborne Division nicknamed "The Blue Angels." Danny was a hard working family man who loved his wife and his children. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Danny was preceded in death by his parents; and son, David Howell. Survivors: wife of 47 years, Sharon Howell; son, Eddie Howell; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.
